Problem
Some masonry had fallen from the soffit area of the upper
elevation. It has crashed & exploded onto the busy Birmingham
pavement, just missing two passers by. The fire brigade were called
out & the shops at ground level ordered to close. The property
owner needed to make the building safe immediately to the satsifaction
of Birmingham City Council & The Health & Safety Executive.
Solution
We responded to the call within one hour. The area affected
was made safe by the following morning.
Result
The shops re-opened on time the next morning. The client was extremely
happy with the prompt action & important decisions made.
