Multi-storey office building in Birmingham.
Problem
Rochdale Borough Council had serious issues with people constantly flytipping down an embankment. The concern was that their own local staff were not able safely to access the area in order to remove the rubbish.
Solution
PWC was commissioned to resolve the problem. They set about immediately to operate a tracked utility vehicle (Hegglunds Bv 206 Tipper) for accessing steep embankments. Combined with rope access techniques, PWC's operatives have been able to access areas that had previously been inaccessible.
Result
The client was extremely satisfied with the ease of the operation and uncovering many layers of years of tipping which was previously unknown to the council.
