To evolve is to innovate - always faster, higher, farther...
In a world that is constantly changing, addressing today's safety challenges and anticipating those of tomorrow is the purpose of the new evolution lifeline by DBI-SALA.
Whatever the work environment, evolution ensures the safety of the personnel in action without reducing their mobility, while complimenting the aesthetics of the buildings in which it is installed. Nothing stops evolution - it's not only a theory, but a part of everyday life.
PWC Access are approved installers and specialists in fixed systems, DBI-SALA specializes uniquely in the domain of fall arrest, innovating constantly, as it has done for more than 30 years in this area. DBI-SALA supplies complete and tailor-made solutions to ensure safe access and work at height.
With evolution, as fall arrest system expert, DBI-SALA is inaugurating a new generation of fixed horizontal lifelines and is breaking away from the market standards.
For work on roofs or overhead cranes, operations in aircraft hangars, bridge maintenance or loading docks - all activities that call for many professionals to work at height. To maintain the greatest possible maneuvering freedom, it is essential for them to have access to a lifeline attached to the structure. This enables them to remain connected constantly so that they can carry out their work without ever needing to disconnect.
Easily installed, evolution is a particularly flexible system for companies seeking the protection of their workplaces without any damage to the buildings or the structures into which the lifeline has to be incorporated.
evolution for Masonry Fix
The evolution Horizontal Lifeline System can be fixed to any structure using chemical anchors or through bolting. Through application specific design, using the LEAP shock absorbers to minimise loads, evolution can be installed to allow up to 6 simultaneous users, on angles up to 15 degrees, allowing full access to the complete working area.
Utilising stainless steel bolts and fixings, the evolution Horizontal Lifeline can be adapted to suit any structure, and any length or configuration. By utilising the LEAP system, loads are reduced to an absolute minimum, ensuring no damage at all to the structural integrity of the steel structure to which it is fixed. Even retro-fitting to heritage buildings, and old masonry is possible due to the high levels of absorption of the LEAP system.
Mounted at any height, the Universal Intermediate Cable Guide is oriented to ensure ease of maneuverability along the entire length of the system using the evolution Shuttle.
evolution for Steel Fix
The evolution Horizontal Lifeline System can be fixed to any structure using clamping, through bolting or weld fix methods. Through application specific design, using the LEAP shock absorbers to minimise loads, evolution can be installed to allow up to 6 simultaneous users, on angles up to 15 degrees, allowing full access to the complete working area.

evolution for Membrane Roofing
The evolution Horizontal Lifeline System, using the LEAP and TIP-OVER Post, can be fixed to the majority of standard membrane type roofing systems, both on-site build up type or composite, with wooden or metal panel type decking. Through application specific design, evolution can be installed to allow up to 6 simultaneous users, on angles up to 15 degrees, allowing full access to the complete roofing area for maintenance and inspection purposes.
Utilising simple to install toggle fixings to affix it to the roof sheet, and manufacturer approved re-weathering techniques adhered to the specially coated base plate, the integrity of the roofing system is maintained. Should a fall occur no damage is sustained by the roof sheet, as the forces generated are absorbed by the evolution system and the LEAP system.
