The image on the right shows one of our in-house rescue practice days with a 70kg 'Ruth Lee' dummy. A Level I technician is being guided through the rescue by a Level III supervisor. This rescue involves complex manoeuvring of the human body in a cableway rescue. The scenario is that the casualty cannot be lowering straight down as there is industrial machinery in the way. A cableway is set-up to transfer the casualty to a 'safe area'
where he can be lowered safely clear of the machinery.
